Scott Chan (陳建業) is a Hong Kong artist. Graduated from the School of Art, RMIT University Australia (BFA), Scott has been actively participated in different exhibitions and art fairs across the region. Growing up in the 1990s, Scott was heavily influenced by street culture and has become a self-taught skateboarder. In 2000s, he was bedridden for weeks because of a skateboarding accident and during that period of time he began to draw.
Being inspired from daily life and the environment surrounding him, Scott applied different materials and mediums into his works, ranging from paper to ceramics. In 2011,Scott established an art studio “huàhuàhuàshì” (畫畫畫室) with an artist friend.
Scott presented his first solo online exhibition “01012013-31122013″ in 2014, and since then he has participated in important solo and group exhibitions, as well as art fairs. Renowned for its distinctive feature, Scott’s illustration drawing has become one of the most sought-after style in the fashion world. Continued to pursue the passion for art and design, Scott’s remarkable achievements soon garnered widespread attention and brought him the opportunity to showcase his works across art and commercial projects.
