Caricatures took hold of Stephen at a very young age when he first saw one in a political cartoon. Amazed at how a person's features could be exaggerated and cartoonised and yet keep the resemblance he immediately started searching out more inspiration. Soon he was terrorizing his dad with his own versions before moving on to other victims.
He is the former Art Director for the South China Morning Post. Previously he’s been Art Director at The Australian, freelance illustrator, cartoonist and designer, all the time continuing to draw caricatures.
